I am passionate about pursuing opportunities in governance and working in diverse sectors and communities. I have maintained a particular interest in the sports sector and will continue to seek opportunities to support women in sport and the development of opportunities for the Pasifika community. I have enjoyed watching sport in New Zealand evolve since my retirement and seeing the doors opened for Pacifica young people to participate; continuing to break down these barriers is vital to me and something I will continue to advocate for in the future.

Throughout my career, I have never underestimated the power of mentors and having a supportive network to guide me on my path. Creating opportunities and sharing knowledge with the next generation is incredibly important. I am mindful of all the opportunities I have taken to use it to create space for other people and voices that might not already be present because they will bring value and new insight to those conversations. I am passionate about supporting young leaders to find their path and helping them break into spaces where they can use their voices and create change and influence decision-making across different sectors.
